Last week, I got three pieces of amazing news from clients:
- A manager at a major apparel company delivered her first big talk in front of an audience of 1000s. She become “someone to look at” in her company.
- I got a message from a CEO who I coached last year on how he’s been “paid thousands of dollars” for keynote events and traveled to other continents to lead workshops!
- A leadership coach who I’ve been working with to improve their speaking skills on videos shared feedback on the first video they posted – which IMMEDIATELY got more attention from their network and potential clients.

These are incredible things to celebrate.
And all these amazing humans had one thing in common. It’s the thing you don’t see behind these celebrations.
They all realized they were afraid of not being able to speak with confidence:
- They were saying no to opportunities to present their work.
- They were stuck writing posts instead of creating videos for a deeper connection with their potential clients.
- They were staying “stuck” and not growing their business and their thought leadership beyond a few clients.
They had a massive fear of failure. Fear of other people’s judgement. And fear of being in the spotlight.
And they refused to accept living with that fear.
This actually made me question all the fears I had been living with.
It took me years to quit a job that no longer gave me any satisfaction or joy.
It took me decades to figure out how to earn a living doing the thing I loved AND was good at.
All because I was afraid of looking like that idiot who quit a Fortune50 job. Afraid of doing something I truly cared about and failing at it.
So I’m constantly inspired by people who say NO to living with fear.
Fear that holds them back from doing what they love. Fear that stops them from becoming so much more than they are.
This is for you if you’ve been living with that fear.
Your speaking skills never have to stand in the way of your success.
In fact, they can be your superpower propelling you into the success you deserve.
You just need to take that first step – say no to living with that fear.
P.S. I’ve been listening to you telling me how you want to speak with confidence but don’t know how to start. I’m creating an entire system that will build your confidence in your speaking skills, your selling skills and in YOU.
